inappropriately timed force bond moments (both nsfw and humor approaches)
dream-sharing
emotional bleed/transference (from rey, involving other parties)
inappropriate force bond voyeurism on rey/poe or rey/finn
mid-conversation force bond interruption
The Rise of Skywalker- Cross-galaxy chase of the Resistance
anything related to ben solo, but especially:
snoke confessionals with family or friends of family
returning to the light
smuggler life style
jedi knight ben
resistance-fighter ben
The Rise of Skywalker- Force Ghost communications w/ Rey
anything related to supreme leader kylo ren, but especially:
fall via coup
resistance fighter reconditioning (gen or nsfw)
force ghost visits from anakin/luke/rey/leia/snoke
defeat by the resistance, and subsequent aftermath
The Rise of Skywalker- Mole Discovery w/ Hux
canto bight:
shady weapons deals
picking up prisoners
recruitment
obligatory dinner party
general casino shenanigans
beach party
basically any reason you can think of to use canto bight as a setting piece
A note on romance: I will ship all of the new trilogy characters with Kylo Ren (except Snoke/Family). But I have no interest in exploring domestic-style takes on them. Thank you for understanding.
You've made it abundantly clear what order means to you.

[He can't help his smile. Maybe that was the problem with taking life as it came, instead of trying to plan for it all the time. You ended up smiling at women who were probably going to kill you in a few hours.
May as well keep up the conversation, since she's talking to him as he ducks is way under the open airlock to head for the gangplank.]
Have you actually been to Cantonica before? Its pretty terrible, outside of this place.
[ something tightens in her throat. a desperate urge to clamp down on this conversation and end it. he'd seen it, hadn't he? no. he didn't know it was this place. this place is worse. that's what she wants to say.
maybe that was the problem. maybe all of this was just … sentiment. drudged up from fifteen years past. the sooner she got off this forsaken rock the better.
two stormtroopers approach them and kira steps back as they begin to pat ben down, searching him for any weapons. kira doesn't pay much attention; her estimation was the same as his. it would be impossible for ben to have armed himself in the past twelve hours, no matter what paranoia tried to tell her. ]
You seem right at home. Not surprising, I suppose.
[Ben is clearly not comfortable being felt up by Stormtroopers. He wriggles a little with some impatience after too long, and steps away from them as fast as he can once they're through. He takes a moment to dust himself off before glancing at Kira, like he didn't hear her correctly.]
What, here? In Canto Bight?
[He snorts, half with laughter, and half with distaste.]
Just because its easy to get lost in doesn't make it home.
[ a distinction she wouldn't have been able to make. she purses her lips. ]
Yet you share its penchant for cheap artifice.
[ SHE WAS SETTING UP FOR AN INSULT AND YOU'RE NOT TAKING IT FROM HER, BENJAMIN SOLO. she steps around him while the stormtroopers back off, assuming he'll catch up with her once he's done being molested.
once they are down the ramp she stops and surveys the damned city, frowning deeply. ]
[Ben raises an eyebrow out of curiosity. Sure, he didn't like it here either -- but hate seems a little...
Well, invested.]
You hate it here?
[He steps in line with her, presumably to head deeper into its streets and stays quiet until he's certain none of the officials are listening. Were it not for Kira, he imagines the First Order shuttle wouldn't have been permitted to land at all. Politics discussions and leanings were mostly off limits.
But he can't help but point out:]
Last I checked, half the First Order's fancy new tech comes from this place. Shouldn't this be...I don't know. "Hate" is a little strong.
[Or not appropriate at all, if you ask him. He's a smuggler -- he knows what's being peddled here.]
[ she asks it offhandedly. no. the force puts her above all of this — better in so many ways, and yet it haunts her. she draws a deep breath. it doesn't matter what she thinks. they have business to do here, and as long as that's true, they will remain. the canto bight police force was eager to get rid of them; it couldn't take much longer to scare him out. she pulls up her hood and beckons him into the streets. it's harder to keep track of him here, so she has to put forth an active effort to pin him down. he'll be able to feel her there, intruding upon his mind, like a slight nudge at his elbow. ]
[He hisses it a little irritably. He feels the persistent nudge and his discomfort is palpable, making it more difficult for him to sneak. He's starting to regret requesting to leave the ship at all.
Ben tries to stave off the feeling by adjusting his cufflinks.]
Unless you're trying to tell me that you don't care about having an advantage, which I don't actually believe.
[ she doesn't answer. any answer she provided would only serve to reveal more than she wanted to offer. the truth was that any price was too high to be worth coming back here for, but she hadn't had a choice in the matter. she thinks about what ben had said — about freedom. ]
Do you think you're free?
[ she glances back at him. ]
Not now. Not in my custody. In your ship. Do you think that's freedom?
[That gets him to stop walking, knuckles cracking into a fist in an effort to calm himself from the swell of indignation that suddenly threatens to eat him alive.]
I came here because I picked up a job. By choice. Being able to choose where you go, and what you want to do -- by the sound of it, you don't even know what that's like.
[He frowns furiously and inhales to stuff his anger back in the box. It won't help him here -- in fact, it might actively work against him if he fails to keep it in check.]
If it was up to my mother, I'd be running in the Resistance with her.
[He says nothing about his father. He doesn't want to broach that subject yet.]
